Steve Fisher

Pastor

Dr. Steve Fisher graduated from Hyles-Anderson College in Crown Point, Indiana.  Upon completion of his graduate studies, he served as youth pastor in Lewisville, Texas, for 7 years before the Lord moved his family to serve as assistant pastor in West Virginia.

Pastor Fisher accepted the call to leadership and was installed as the third pastor of the New Testament Baptist Church on June 9, 2002, with a unanimous vote. He and his wife, Wanda, have been married for 21 years and have three children.  Pastor Fisher brings over twenty years of full-time experience in church ministries to the classroom and pulpit when he speaks.  His refreshing Christian spirit adds a unique flavor to his ministry as pastor, counselor, Bible teacher, and itinerate speaker.

John Waterhouse

Youth Pastor

John Waterhouse has been given the unique privilege to grow in the Lord under the leadership of several great men and serve the Lord in several fruitful places. In 2003, he graduated with honors from Hyles-Anderson College in Crown Point, Indiana. Upon graduation, he faithfully served in his home church in Ohio, before God saw fit to lead him into both full and part-time positions in New Mexico, Connecticut, and Tennessee. He is joined by his bride of nearly 10 years, Roxanne, and two young sons, J.T. and Luke.

Although Bro. Waterhouse grew up in a good home and trusted Christ at the age of nine, he attended numerous public schools as a Christian young person and teenager. He recognizes the daily difficulties and distractions that a public school student must face. He sees the need to reach out to the youth and let them know that God loves them and has a special plan for their lives!
